Poem 4
What it's like to die on every planet
We sail through the abyss of stars
pulverised by radiation sickness
bodies evaporated
turned inside out
the gravity on Venus
laughs at your bones
the sin of being human
before the uncaring majesty
of the supreme void
how vain and how fragile
nothing matters
nothing anti-matters
we sent monkeys and dogs
on rockets to die in space
fuck Earth
If it was obliterated by an asteroid
I would feel bad for the asteroid
But, given the choice
I would like to be
crushed by Uranus.
This was all a ruse; I'm sorry.
